The Commemoration of the 200th Anniversary of the death of Sergeant Charles Floyd of the Lewis & Clark Expedition, 1803-1806. During the Lewis & Clark Expedition, the only member to die was Sgt. Charles Floyd. He died of apparent appendicitus at a location that is now Sioux City. Uniformed re-enactors recreated the buriel in a solemn ceremony on the anniversary of his death.
